Dive Dive Dive! Sodwana Bay!
30 May – 2 June 2019
From R 2 840.00
Don’t let the changing season discourage you. We are off to Sodwana Bay.
Sodwana Bay lies on the northern coast of South Africa. It is South Africa’s first World Heritage site and is home to the southernmost coral reefs in Africa. It is Scuba Diving Shangri-La. The Indian ocean is soothingly warm and the beaches are covered with scuttling crabs. Scuba-diving in Sodwana Bay is Finding Nemo in real life, I would call it breathtaking if it wasn’t for the air cylinders on our backs. Colourful coral reefs, slow peaceful turtles, dust-spraying stingrays and an incredible variety of tropical fish. This stretch of the coast provides the travelling diver with a vast array of unspoiled coral reefs, populated with a huge diversity of Indo-Pacific fish species and invertebrates. Apart from the great diving and beautiful coral reefs, Sodwana Bay also offers fun and excitement for non-divers, from quad-bike riding, surfing, and kite-boarding, to day trips to surrounding African “Big 5” game reserves and the amazing Isimangaliso wetlands park. You’ll be sure to find something that appeals to you, your friends and family.
Colder weather is no excuse to stay at home, the water here is nice and warm.
