You don’t have to be “advanced” to take the PADI Advanced Open Water Course. You see it’s designed to advance your diving, so you can start right after earning your PADI Open Water Diver certification. The course helps build confidence and expand your scuba skills through different Adventure Dives. You try out different specialties while gaining experience under the supervision of your PADI Instructor. You log dives and develop capabilities as you find new ways to have fun scuba diving.
This is where you start to specialis in the other exciting types of scuba diving which will allow you to dive on wrecks, at night, to depth of up to 30 meters, with a dry suit and even teach you how to take awsome photos underwater. The specialities this course offers.

The course is designed to build on the skills you learnt in the Open Water Course and many divers choose to complete, the Advanced course immediately after the basic one. This way their skills and knowledge can be improved without allowing time to develop bad habits.
